Update Corona protective measures

The currently valid COVID-19 Ordinance of May 26, 2021 provides for further relaxations. Based on the national measures, the following rules will apply to the Zurich Wilderness Park from Monday, May 31, 2021 until at least June 30, 2021:
Langenberg Zoo
- A general mask requirement continues to apply throughout the entire perimeter of the zoo, compliance with the distancing rules (1.5 m) and a restriction on the number of people in accordance with federal guidelines (10 square meters per person). The regulations are signposted at all entrances and in heavily frequented areas.
- The muesli hut and Mongolian yurt remain closed. The visitor entrance to the wildcats remains marked as a one-way system.
- Wilderness messengers will be out and about on Wednesdays and Sundays in dry weather to provide information. There will be no information tables or materials.

Sihlwald visitor center and otter enclosure area
- The distancing rules (1.5 m) and a restriction on the number of people according to federal guidelines (10 square meters per person) apply.
- Wilderness messengers will be circulating around the Visitor Center area on Sundays in dry weather to provide information. There will be no information tables or materials.
Visitor Center and Sihlwald Nature Museum
- In the interior of the visitor center and nature museum and in the nearby outdoor area, a general mask requirement, compliance with the distance rules (1.5m) and a restriction on the number of people according to federal guidelines (10sqm per person) apply.

Events and courses
- All events in the annual program until the end of June can take place, with the exception of the "Animal keeper on site" offer.
- In general, social distancing rules (1.5 m) must be observed and masks must be worn indoors and outdoors.
- Group offers (guided tours, excursions) are regularly carried out with 25 people (plus leaders).
- Courses and further education courses with a maximum of 50 people can be held.
- Public museum tours are regularly conducted with a maximum of 20 people. Data is recorded for contact tracing.
- Wild boar tours are conducted with a maximum of 20 people. Data is recorded for contact tracing.
- Short red deer tours are conducted with a maximum of 20 people.
- School programs with children and young people up to 20 years of age can be carried out. The protection concept for schools in the canton of Zurich applies.
