Spring is here: start of the season at Zurich Wilderness Park!
From Good Friday, March 29, the visitor center in Sihlwald will be open again. This marks the start of the main season in the Zurich Wilderness Park. The Wilderness Park team has once again put together an exciting program with around 300 events.
Mushroom and wild plant courses, guided tours of the animal park or wilderness days for the whole family; with over 300 events, the Zurich Wilderness Park offers a varied program and attractions for all nature-loving people.
Proven and new
The guided tour of the wild boar enclosure has long been a hit and is therefore a must this year too. You can go on a "wild boar safari" under expert guidance every Sunday and on public holidays. In collaboration with the new catering team at Restaurant Langenberg, Zurich Wilderness Park now offers various culinary highlights, such as a twilight tour of the zoo with an aperitif by the campfire followed by a feast of wild game. Once a month, there is also a lavish brunch with a guided tour of the zoo.
Another new offer is "forest bathing" - a well-known relaxation method from Japan, where you can immerse yourself in the natural forest with all your senses.
Amphibians: searching for traces for children
From Wednesday to Sunday, the Zurich Wilderness Park in Sihlwald offers a tricky search for clues for children. Clever young detectives can solve puzzles about frogs, salamanders and newts on the grounds of the visitor center. Those who answer all the questions will receive a prize sponsored by Zürcher Kantonalbank. The visitor center is open from Wednesday to Friday between 12 noon and 5 pm, and at weekends between 9 am and 6 pm.

Camping open again
The Sihlwald campsite also starts the new season on Good Friday. The camping bistro offers snacks, crêpes, ice cream and small menus for hungry walkers.
