Friday, 17. April 2020
Due to the measures taken by the Federal Council against the spread of the coronavirus, the Zurich Wilderness Park Foundation is taking the following measures in consultation with the Canton of Zurich's Department of Health:
- The Langenberg Animal Park, the Visitor Center and Nature Museum in Sihlwald and the Albis-Hochwacht observation tower will remain closed for the time being until 7 June. The visitor center area with its fire pits and wilderness playground is also closed. All our animals will continue to receive the best possible care.
- No events will take place until the end of August. Courses, excursions and group tours will not take place until June 7.
- The Langenberg and Sihlwald restaurants are closed until further notice.
- All group offers until the end of May are canceled. Any costs already paid will be refunded.
- As long as schools in the Canton of Zurich are closed, there will be no offers for school classes.
- The Sihlwald campsite will remain closed until March 31. After that, the social distancing measures and the Federal Council's hygiene measures will apply.
- The reception in the administration building in Sihlwald will remain closed. Please use the telephone or e-mail to contact us.
The measures will be continuously adapted based on developments.
