The 23rd edition of "Sihlwald Kino" in Zurich Wilderness Park once again guarantees great films in an extraordinary setting. Between August 27 and September 5, cinema fans big and small will get their money's worth in the covered hall at the visitor center in Sihlwald. The stars on the big screen are rivaled only by the view of the wild natural forest and the Sihl. The cinema is a stone's throw from Sihlwald railroad station. Sporty types may want to cycle along the Sihl to the Zurich Wilderness Park visitor center later in the afternoon, or combine an evening at the cinema with a hike through the unspoilt Sihlwald forest. The Bistro Cinéma also provides refreshments before the movie starts.
The varied program includes, for example, the road movie "Nomadland". With three trophies, the film was the big winner at this year's Oscars. The social drama about working nomads in the USA with leading actress Frances McDormand is absolutely worth seeing. With Peter Rabbit 2, Jim Knopf and The Croods, the "Sihlwald Kino" also has something to offer children in the afternoon.
Tickets are available on site or at the following advance booking offices: Shop of the Zurich Wilderness Park Visitor Center in Sihlwald, ZVV Contact Customer Center at Adliswil railroad station or Albis Drogerie in Langnau am Albis.
The exact program or any corona-related adjustments can be found at www.sihlwaldkino.ch.
