"Wild on forest"
Celebrate the opening of the new season with us on the grounds of the visitor center in Sihlwald. The program includes the vernissage of the new special exhibition "Wild on Forest" with a welcome by City Councillor Raphael Golta, by our Managing Director Karin Hindenlang and by Holger Frick from Naturama Aargau. We also invite you to an aperitif and offer short guided tours through the new special exhibition. A craft table, a painting competition and exciting forest stories will also make the event an unforgettable experience for children. Admission to the Nature Museum is free on this day.
"Wild on the forest"
There is much to discover in the forest. In our new special exhibition, you can discover secret forest dwellers, interesting facts about trees, surprising biocoenoses, funny and thought-provoking facts about the forest. Sharpen your senses in our museum forest. "Wild auf Wald" brings the forest habitat into our nature museum - without any real trees. The exhibition comes from Naturama Aargau and has been further developed by our staff.
Our stores
The visitor center in Sihlwald is the gateway to the forest wilderness of Sihlwald. Our staff are on hand with advice and tips to make your excursion into the natural forest a unique experience. In the store in the visitor center, we present a unique range of souvenirs and books and will be happy to advise you in your search for literature. You can also ask our store staff for advice on events and courses throughout the wilderness park and book them. This now also applies to the Wilderness Park Shop in Langenberg. We will be celebrating the reopening there on March 23 with new opening hours.
