Sihlwald goes into hibernation on November 1

Pro Natura, one of the sponsors of the Zurich Wilderness Park Foundation, will be making its grand entrance at this year's Wintereinklang on Sunday, November 1. In the main program, the winners of Pro Natura's national photo competition will receive their prizes. The theme of the competition - "Flower meadows" - fits in perfectly with the two special exhibitions in the Nature Museum of the Zurich Wilderness Park, for which guided tours for young and old will be offered for the last time this year. The special exhibition of the Pro Natura Cantonal Section Zurich on "Cave-dwelling animals" is celebrating its finissage, while the herb exhibition of the Zurich Wilderness Park is merely taking a winter break until March 20, 2016.

• 14.00 Award ceremony Pro Natura photo competition flower meadows
• 14.50 Small aperitif in the Sihlwald restaurant
• 15.30-16.00 Guided tours of the two special exhibitions "Cave Dwellers" and "Good or Evil. There's a herb for everything"

Supporting program

• 12 to 5 p.m. Mulled wine and chestnuts in front of the visitor center
• 1 to 5 p.m. Show carving on a large pumpkin
• 1 to 5 p.m. Live music with the duo Echo vom Sihlwald
• 14.20 + 15.30 Punch and Judy show
