Read moreJune 11 is young animal day at Langenberg
The months of March, April and May are a suitable time for many wild animals to give birth to their young. Temperatures rise and food - especially for herbivores - is plentiful. It is therefore not surprising that numerous animal enclosures at Zurich Langenberg Wilderness Park also welcome new additions in spring and early summer. And it is precisely these youngest inhabitants that will be the focus of the Young Animal Day on Sunday, June 11.
This year, the wild boar have already given birth to new pups, the sika and red deer have calves, the elk, roe deer and bison have fawns, the red foxes have puppies and the wildcats have kittens. Get a picture of the youngsters in our animal enclosures on Young Animal Day and enjoy encounters with native wild animals at eye level.
