The annual program of the Zurich Wilderness Park focuses on the personal experience of wilderness. Whether on a safari to the wild animals in the Langenberg, on an expedition to the cave dwellers in the museum, on the Wild Boar Express in the middle of the Sihlwald or on a treasure hunt around the visitor center - the offers provide the desired dose of wilderness for every visitor.
Into the wilderness on your own
There are numerous trails through the Sihlwald and Langenberg that you can discover at your own pace and rhythm: for example the forest adventure trail, predator trail or prehistoric trail. Helpful information is available at the visitor center in Sihlwald
New offers at the visitor center
From this season, a treasure hunt around the visitor center in Sihlwald is on the program for young and old sleuths. The required treasure map is available during opening hours (March 21 to November 2). Also new this year is an adventure Saturday on the first Saturday from April to October.
Cave dwellers - animals in hiding
Follow the tracks of a woodpecker and find out where the bat sleeps during the day. Explore different caves in a playful way. With its many interactive and playful elements, Pro Natura Zurich's new special exhibition is suitable for young and old. Opening: March 23.
Immerse yourself in the wilderness
Embark on an adventurous wilderness safari without the stress of travel and mosquito infestation in Langenberg and on the grounds of the visitor center in Sihlwald. In the nature laboratories and on numerous short tours, researchers will explain the local flora and fauna to you. Date: May 24 and 25.
Adventure day for the whole family
At the traditional Wilderness Park Festival, combine the nature experience in Langenberg and Sihlwald with a concert experience with the band Silberbüx in our pavilion at the visitor center in Sihlwald - and enjoy a delicious wild boar sausage after the ride on the Wild Boar Express. Date: September 21.
