A look over the shoulder of a Sihlwald ranger

If you've always wanted to know what the rangers at the Zurich Wilderness Park do, then the Ranger Day on July 20 at the Albis-Hochwacht viewing tower is the right place for you.

Between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m., our rangers will talk about their everyday life and explain their tasks in the Zurich Wilderness Park. And every hour on the hour, you can accompany the Sihlwald experts on short 20-minute tours of the natural forest. The guided tours are free of charge and are suitable for the whole family - there will also be plenty of fun and games. In dry weather, our ranger team will be happy to welcome you at the Albis-Hochwacht observation tower.

  • Date Sunday, July 20, 2014
  • Time 1 to 5 pm, short guided tours (approx. 20 min) at 1, 2, 3 and 4 pm
  • Location Albis-Hochwacht observation tower, Zurich Sihlwald Wilderness Park
  • Costs The guided tours are free of charge, registration is not required
  • Arrival Postbus 240 from Langnau-Gattikon station to Albispasshöhe. From there, half an hour's walk to the observation tower
  • IMPORTANT

The ranger day only takes place in dry weather. Information will be available from Saturday, July 19, telephone 1600, under "Public events".
